How long have you been traveling? We’ve been traveling since July 15. We got married August 25, and are still traveling.

Where did you go? We cycled from Venice to Munich to catch a flight to Vegas. It was a Vegas wedding. Now, we are currently in Japan and heading to Southeast Asia on our continued honeymoon.

Tell us about how you started traveling: From Liverpool, I met my husband at our old job. We both work with children, leading activities such as climbing and abseil. We fell in love straight away. Now, my husband and I are currently on a traveling wedding/honeymoon.

After I lost my dad and I was working there for the summer, we made a plan to get married in Vegas. However, our plans changed dramatically when his sister died at the age of 32, just a month before the wedding.

Everything had to change but we wanted to still make it to Vegas because she was so excited about our wedding.

We decided to cycle from Venice to Munich were we would get the cheapest flight. We cycled together through 7 countries raising money for Diabetes U.K.

We flew to Vegas and some family joined us, and despite a lot of heart ache, we had a perfect Vegas wedding. We then traveled through California, and we are currently in Japan and are traveling until the money runs out.

We sleep in our tent or hostels, or use Couchsurfing, and it’s been a whirlwind! Heart break to happiness, you name an emotion, we have felt it. But I’m with the love of my life right now on a journey neither of us saw coming!
