Top Ideas for How to Celebrate Galentine's Day

Ever since Leslie Knope coined the term “Galentine’s Day” on the show “Parks and Recreation,” girls all over the world have come together to celebrate girl power. This popular “holiday” offers the perfect excuse for a girls getaway for all those who are single and don’t want to think about spending Valentine’s Day alone. We know you don't need an excuse to spend time with your girls but we thought, we would give you one anyways!

Here is a list of some trending things you can do this Galentine’s Day to celebrate with your best friends:

If you’re staying in town:

Spa Trip

If you regularly make time to go to the spa, more power to you! However, most of us can never find the time to take a day off to just relax. Grab your girls and head to the nearest spa for a getaway that is close but still gives you some vacation vibes. Pampering yourself every once in a while is something we all deserve!

Learn Something New

I think we’ve all started the new year with a resolution of learning something new, and never followed through with it. This is the perfect excuse to take a cooking class, pole dancing workout class or even try goat yoga. Seriously, goat yoga is a thing and people LOVE it. Even if you’re not a fan of yoga, you will get that cute selfie with a baby goat out of it!

Splurge On a Workout Class

Hollywood always has a new workout craze that, even if you don’t want to admit it, you’ve always wanted to try. Now is the time to try it with your girls! Look around for local gyms that offer Pilates, hot yoga or even cycling classes. If there’s a Soul Cycle in your area, I highly recommend taking one of those classes! You will leave feeling both mentally and physically stronger. Plus, since you just worked off so many calories you can grab some drinks at a local bar after!
