What would you say was your honeymoon style?
Our goal when we travel is to always experience new things together. We wanted adventure, cultural immersion and relaxation.
Where did you stay?
The Residence Johannesburg (Johannesburg), KwaZulu Natal Game Reserves, Lanzerac Hotel and Spa (Stellenbosch), The Marly Boutique Hotel and Spa (Cape Town)
How did you decide on this location?
We live in South Florida with some pretty beautiful beaches, so a beach vacation was not it. We wanted to go big and as far as possible, for a once in a lifetime trip. South Africa was at the top of each of our bucket lists!
How long did you spend time there?

Favorite parts of your vacation? (do anything exciting and different?)
We enjoyed staying on a vineyard in Stellenbosch. The views were breathtaking and the ambiance was so unique and luxurious. And of course the wine; we learned, we drank, and now have a newfound love and appreciation for South African wines!
One thing every couple must do when on their honeymoon?
Stay at a high-end hotel where the room is so unbelievable that you don't want to leave. Stay in one night, lay in your robes and order room service!
Any other advice for couples planning their dream honeymoon?
Go right after the wedding, while you are still riding the high of the big day! Max out the time you can take, and pick a place that will give you incredible memories.
What was the best part of working with TravelBash?

I would have to say the booklet of the itinerary was everything (I love an itinerary). We had all the details in one spot to reference for such a big trip. During the trip, we felt so taken care of, from transportation to the planned excursions and leisure days. I could go on and on about how perfect our trip was, traveling will never be the same!
Where are you off to next?
Our friends are getting married in Italy next year, and we plan to take full advantage of our travels. TravelBash will be the first to know once the date is set so we can see as much of Italy as possible on our trip!
